Since the 1950s, many Filipinos have started to work and migrate to different countries all over the world in search of better opportunities and a better life. Statistics have shown that there are more than 8 million Filipinos currently working or living all over the world. Many of these Filipinos want to help the Philippines but don't know how. Through Balikpinoy, we hope to be able to provide opportunities for more Filipinos to go back to their roots, appreciate the beauty of the Philippines and its people and in the end, be able to give back to the Philippines. Our main programs include: 

A. The Balikbayan Filipino Heritage Program - a month-long summer camp for children of Filipinos living abroad. The main aim of the program is to help inculcate a healthy spirit of Filipino Nationalism and Love for the Philippines on young Filipinos who spent most of their growing up years living abroad.
 
B. The Balikbayan Heritage Tours - guided tours for Filipinos who have lived abroad for quite some time already and want to visit the Philippines again. These tours will not only go to famous tourist spots in the country but will also provide opportunities for the participants to take part in activities that will promote nation-building.

C. The Balikbayan Biyaya Program - this is a volunteer program for Filipinos who would like to spend at least a month volunteering for a non-profit organization, social enterprise or foundation here in the Philippines.

We hope that you will consider joining any one of our programs. Proceeds of these programs will go towards supporting the education of academically-gifted but financially-disadvantaged Filipino students and the development of effective and ethical young Filipino leaders.
